We are dedicated to empowering children through community service and acts of kindness. We strive to create a positive impact on young lives, promoting empathy, inclusivity, and a brighter future for every child. Our mission is to cultivate a culture of compassion, generosity, and support to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.
Through presentations, media content, and community service-based projects, this program aims to empower youth leaders to promote the mission of ChooseKind4Kids. We aim to achieve this with “Kids Helping Kids” in hope of inspiring other student advocates.
Wonder
While fundraising is a way we promote our mission, it's far from the only one. In hopes of maximizing our impact, we launched our Young Upstanders Program and began developing Proactive Presentations to give at schools. These presentations will feature slide decks, interactive activities, and demonstrations to effectively educate and spread awareness. They will cover a range of important topics, including mental health and anti-bullying initiatives, all aimed at supporting children in our community.
The Young Upstanders Program is organized into five subcommittees: Mental Health, Bullying and Upstanding, Mental Illness, Addiction, and Equity and Inclusion. Guided by their appointed student leader, each subcommittee and their respective members plan activities and presentations to educate children on specific focus areas. They work hard to ensure a comprehensive approach to these critical topics.
With 192 volunteers across 9 schools, we are dedicated to empowering children through community service and acts of kindness.

Whether it's babysitting, helping with summer camps, or playing with my little cousins, I've always loved being around kids. Even more than spending time with children, I enjoy doing community service. So, I decided to combine these passions and give back to my community.
Over time and through various programs, I have gained deep insight into the disparities in learning opportunities, medical care, and physical health resources within my community. This awareness, coupled with my community service work with these children, has heightened my understanding of the daily challenges faced by kids around the world. While no one can control the circumstances they’re born into, every child deserves an equal chance at success and happiness. Although I may not be able to influence the conditions a child is born into, I was determined to find a way to help make their journey easier.
As teenagers, it's easy to feel powerless. However, choosing kindness and spreading it is a simple yet powerful way to make a difference. Through ChooseKind4Kids, I aim to empower others just as I have been inspired to spread kindness in the world. Whether that be through community service or a simple compliment to a stranger, an act of kindness can go a long way.
